Protective Styles

Protective styles are worn to protect your hair from any elements; I believe everything needs a break including our hair. I do believe this is how to retain length or how I retained length is by doing protective styling, one month of regular styling and one month of protective styling. During the colder months, this is where I really incorporate protective styling, making sure to tuck my ends the oldest part of my hair away for added protection. Protective styling can still be fun; I see so many fun and creative styles; keep it fun I say, "protective styling doesn’t have to be boring."
